The waterfall

The sun shines on the clear blue sky. The wind blows, carrying the cool breeze with the smell of wet earth. The large green trees sway to the rhythm of the wind, like dancers pulled by the wind. I feel the tall weeds on my knees and their softness when I step on them, the crunch of dry leaves and the shiny stones covered with green slats. Butterflies and insects fly over the flowers in the green fields, welcoming new visitors. I watch the lizards resting on the brown bark of the old trees, and I listen to the birds singing from their branches. Being part of the beautiful show of nature, my senses are saturated with the delights that excite my imagination. I close my eyes and feel how the air fills my lungs with each breath.

This is life.

I walk through the forest accompanied by the sound of the stream. A passage formed by a dome of trees leads me to a small but beautiful valley where the stream becomes a waterfall. I walk down to the banks of the stream and take a brief moment to enjoy the surroundings with the only thought of undressing. My bare feet feel the slickness of the stones and the cold of the water, and my feet are immersed in the smoothness and softness of the mud. The small fish make way as I move forward. Little by little my body gets used to the temperature and I start swimming, feeling the current against my entire body. I swim towards the waterfall and stop under the spray.

It is under the stream, where no thoughts are allowed under such an overwhelming sensation.

You don't question. You are only allowed to feel.

You feel free, freed from the habit of thinking.
